Who Is the Spouse KITAS For?
If you’re a foreign national married to an Indonesian citizen, the Spouse KITAS is the right visa for you.
There are two options available:

Key Benefits of the Spouse Visa:
- Stay in Indonesia legally for up to 5 years
- Get an Indonesian KTP (Resident ID Card)
- Become eligible for Indonesian citizenship
- Open bank accounts, apply for credit cards, and get a driver’s license
- Run a business or work without a separate work permit
- Own property jointly with your Indonesian spouse
- Travel freely with a Multiple Entry Permit (MERP)
- Receive key documents: Police Registration (SKLD), National ID, and more
- Note: If your spouse is not an Indonesian citizen, you’ll need to apply for a Dependent KITAS instead.
